How the tools handle your files
The image tools process files on your own device using your browser's built-in features. They do not send your images to a server, and you can check this in your browser's developer tools by watching the network activity while a tool runs. Each tool page lists its limits, such as the number of files, the maximum file size and the image formats it accepts.
Converting or compressing an image re-encodes it, which normally removes embedded metadata such as camera details. Keep your original file.
